| NEWSOME Captain Joseph E. Newsome, Chesterfield Fire and E.M.S., 42, of Midlothian, entered eternity on April 23, 2007. Survivors include his beloved wife, Laurie Dixon Newsome; two precious sons, Robert Joseph and Thomas James Newsome; his mother, Julia May Brock Newsome; two brothers, Wayne Newsome and his wife, Judy of Dinwiddie, and William Newsome and his wife, Cindy of Colonial Heights; and two sisters, Janet Newsome of Chesterfield, and Judyth Ann Conklin and her husband, Joseph of Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Thursday at Crestwood Presbyterian Church West Campus, 1200 Charter Colony Parkway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Joe Newsome Memorial Fund, Attn: CARES, P.O. Box 40, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. |
