How to Join Local 2803

Contact your fire station shop steward and ask for a signature card along with a supplemental insurance form(the association provides a 10,000/20,000 policy) and payroll deduction form.

 Complete these forms and return them to your steward along with payment of $30. This will cover your first month’s dues along with your initiation fee. Dues are $288 a year. Joining isn’t mandatory.

 Quarterly membership meetings are held in February, May, September and December on the first Wednesday and Thursday of those months. The Wednesday meeting begins at 0900 and the Thursday meeting begins at 1930. Meetings are held at Fire Station 17.

Note: If you decide to become a member of the CPFFA, you can not be a volunteer firefighter, part time firefighter or EMS worker in a jurisdiction where there is an IAFF local union per CPFFA and IAFF By Laws.
